The Shared Instrument Lab holds a broad suite of instrumentation geared toward chemical analyses, including instruments for:
- optical spectroscopy
- gas and liquid chromatography
- mass spectrometry
- thermal analysis
- nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry
This instrumentation is available for users across campus and throughout the university system, and for the world at large. Training is available so that the instruments can be used independently. We keep the instruments in good running condition and provide some consumables (others must be provided by the user).
