The reservation script just gave an erroneous result, denying a reservation for reasons which were demonstrably wrong. I will look into this and see if I can figure out why this happened and what corrective action may be needed. If you submit a reservation request and it isn’t honored, I will handle it manually. As Douglas Adams famously wrote, “don’t panic”.
UPDATE: as it turns out, the script was just fine – it was a mismatch between a user email address and the address listed for that individual in our user database. Hopefully that is the only such error in the data, but if you ever have a reservation request denied and you wonder why, the information we have on file for you should be double-checked (while you are checking to make sure you didn’t try to reserve a time that someone else has already reserved).
